Pick five companies you are interested in investing in and prepare a wiki page that will include all of your companies.Your page name should be your first name and last initial. Please separate each company by using the "Insert Horizontal Rule" button on the editing toolbar. Your five companies must be different then everyone else. We will pick companies in class using a systematic method. The information that you need is below. For grading purposes each company should be set up the same way, see McDonald's example below. Be sure to have headings with bold font.

  • Company Name (linked URL)
  • Logo
  • Current Stock Price/Graph (embed graph into Wiki page)
  • Stock symbol
  • Market it is Traded on (NYSE/NASDAQ)
  • Company press releases (RSS feed of Press Releases from Company)
  • News about the Company (RSS feed about the company, but not released by the company)
  • Sector and Industry the Company is in
  • What they produce
  • Current P/E ratio and P/E ratio of 3 of their competitors with links to their yahoo finance page
  • Dividend Information
  • 52 Week High/low
  • Your recommendation on buying this stock (look at all the information you gathered, read the current news, look at stock analyst reports on Google finance and Yahoo finance) Is this a buy now stock? why or why not?

Grading:
20 points for each company that has all information above with labels for each category (see McDonalds example)
18 points for each company that is only missing 1 piece of information and has labels for each category
16 points for each company that is missing 2 items and has labels for each category
14 points for each company that is missing 3 items and/or items are not labeled
12 points for each company that is missing 4 items
10 points for each company that is missing 5 items
8 points for each company that is missing 6 items
6 points for each company that is missing 7 items
4 points for each company that is missing 8 items
2 points for each company that is missing 9 items
0 points for each company that is missing more then 9 items
